This qualification is designed to provide the learner with the knowledge and skills to be able to respond to emergency first aid situations in the workplace.

Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work Entry Requirements

  • There are no specific entry requirements.
  • There is an element of communication (discussing, presenting, reading and writing) involved and learners should have basic skills in communication pitched at level 2.

  • This qualification must be maintained, refresher training and recertification is required every 3 years.

Unit 1 Emergency first aid in the workplace A/504/4517.
Unit 2 Recognition and management of illness and injury in the workplace F/504/4518.
